Gefferson Vila Nova’s latest collection brings Mediterranean-inspired elegance and relaxed sophistication to São Paulo Fashion Week.

The Euro-summer hype has officially landed in Brazil. After spending nearly a month traveling through Italy, Brazilian designer Gefferson Vila Nova has channeled the essence of his journey into a clean, cohesive collection for this year’s edition of SPFW. Drawing inspiration from everything he saw, tasted, and experienced, Vila Nova aimed to evoke a lasting impression — one that could linger in your mind for days or even years.

2024 is a pivotal year for Vila Nova. In August, he opened his first international point of sale in Lisbon, a major milestone that, alongside his trip to the Amalfi Coast, set the tone for his European summer-inspired designs.

While not a revolutionary concept, Vila Nova’s collection stands out for its high-quality, sophisticated basics, blending elegant, comfortable tailoring with subtle streetwear influences. The Italian influence shines through with playful touches like lemons, mermaids from Greek mythology, scooters, and a soft, refreshing color palette that captures the spirit of a sun-soaked summer in the Mediterranean.

This collection brings a slice of Europe’s summer charm to Brazil, balancing timeless elegance with a laid-back, modern edge.
