The designer pulled inspiration from his shared love of cars with his father.

Siriano’s latest collection is all about empowerment.

Breaking away from the traditionally masculine associations with cars, his collection celebrates the power of diversity. It’s a tribute to taking control and celebrating different ages, cultures, sizes, and forms of beauty. To emphasize this message, models strutted down the runway, each one gliding past a sleek black Toyota.

The collection drew inspiration from car design, featuring sharp constructions, bold colors (with an abundance of red), embroideries mimicking tire tracks, and textures that evoke the look of tires and oil slicks. Surprisingly, the collection doesn’t come across as masculine or rugged. Instead, it’s glamorous, feminine, and futuristic—perfectly poised for the red carpet.
