At the Palais de Tokyo in Paris, HOMME PLISSÉ Issey Miyake presented the Fall/Winter 2024 menswear collection, entitled “Immersed in the Wilds of Creativity.”

As attendees made their way to their seats, they passed by Issey Miyake’s clothing pieces displayed on the walls surrounding the runway space. Guests were prompted to closely inspect and interact with the garments they were about to see on the runway.

Artist Ronan Bouroullec was invited to collaborate this season, resulting in a collection that subtly transforms the way you view clothing, emphasizing its role as a canvas for human expression and its capacity to provide comfort.

“It was an extraordinary experience to work with the design team, where I discovered many things over the course of the creative session about what my work has in common with and in contrast to their clothing design. The synergy, as well as the distance between us, made this project both inspiring and rewarding,” said Ronan Bouroullec.
